Achieving the Jiu-Jitsu blue belt

Achieving the Jiu Jitsu blue belt. One step closer to becoming the three-time world championship.

Thailand, The Fairtex Training Center, July 3, 2020

Mohammadreza Goodary, known as Reza Goodary®, is an Iranian Marshal Artist, and the only Iranian Bloomberg® has named as the solo Persian Karate, Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu champion.

After 18 months of intense training in Brazilian Jujitsu, Reza was able to achieve the honorable blue belt from Professor De'Alonzio Jackson (who is an eight-time world champion).
This was amazing feat was only possible once Reza was able to meet all the challenges set by his trainer, on September 21, 2019, in the above-mentioned international tournament of masters-held in the COPA De Bangkok & Siam Cup. Reza won four gold medals and one silver medals which meant that he subsequentially qualified to achieve the highly reputable blue belt.

It is worth mentioning that Reza fought under the status of ‘white belt’ to the honor of his migrated trainer.
Reza says the secret to his success came down to three things: “Training, training and more training.”

The word ‘impossible’ does not exist in vocabulary the noblest of all creatures. Humankind has this instinctive urge to search for the path to achieve perfection, no matter how difficult the path may be. The most important step on the journey to perfection, however, is choosing the right path sincerely.

The holder of Karate black belt 4th Dan and a remarkable 299 Karate fight titles adds: “My goal in life is to fight in the six angled cages (Mixed Martial Arts). I know there are two groups of people on this path; the supporters and the non-supporters. It may sound odd, but I am actually very grateful to both of these groups; they provide me with all the necessary energy that I need to succeed.”
